Overview of the TG EAPCET 2026 Counselling Process
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) conducted TG EAPCET 2026 counselling for admissions into Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses across Telangana. Following the release of TG EAPCET 2026 results on May 17, 2026, the counselling process — covering roughly 1.61 lakh participating students competing for approximately 1.16 lakh engineering seats — ran entirely online across three main phases between June and August 2026.
Phase 1 Schedule
Phase 1 registration, processing fee payment, and slot booking for certificate verification ran from June 19 to June 28, 2026 (₹1,200 for OC/BC candidates, ₹600 for SC/ST candidates). Certificate verification at Help Line Centres (HLCs) took place from June 22 to June 29. Candidates then exercised their web options from June 25 through July 1, with options frozen on July 1. Mock seat allotment was released on or before July 4, giving candidates a chance to modify their options from July 5-7 before final freezing on July 7. First Phase seat allotment results were announced on or before July 10, with fee payment and self-reporting for allotted candidates continuing through July 14, 2026.
Phase 2 Schedule
Phase 2 opened registration and slot booking for new candidates (those who hadn’t registered in Phase 1) starting July 17, 2026, with certificate verification for this phase conducted around July 18. Web options entry for Phase 2 ran from July 18-19, with seat allotment results expected on or before July 22. Candidates who received a Phase 2 allotment completed fee payment and self-reporting between July 22-24, followed by physical reporting to allotted colleges from July 25-28. The deadline to cancel an allotted Phase 2 seat, for those choosing not to proceed, was July 28.
Final Phase Schedule
The Final Phase involved web options exercised from August 1-2, 2026, with final seat allotment results due by August 5 and physical reporting to colleges required by August 7, 2026 — marking the conclusion of the full three-phase TG EAPCET 2026 counselling cycle for the MPC (Engineering) stream.
A Note on the BiPC (Agriculture and Pharmacy) Stream
It’s worth noting that the schedule above covers the MPC (Engineering) stream specifically. Counselling for the Agriculture and Pharmacy (BiPC) stream has historically followed a separate, later timeline — based on prior years’ patterns, that counselling process typically begins around October, following completion of the engineering stream counselling.
Where to Check Current Status
Since this article covers a counselling cycle that has already run its course as of when you’re reading this, anyone with specific status questions about a seat allotment, internal sliding, or spot admissions round should check directly through the official TG EAPCET counselling portal (eapcet.tgche.ac.in) or contact their allotted institution directly, since post-allotment processes like internal sliding and spot admissions can extend the effective admissions timeline beyond the core three-phase schedule outlined above.
